Natalia Ryzak is a multimedia journalist, host, and producer at WBNG 12 News, a CBS/CW affiliate in Binghamton, NY. She has covered stories ranging from a profile of a high-risk COVID vaccine trial participant to a look at TikTok’s impact on college campuses. Most recently, Natalia produced a special report that examined the impact of the pandemic on school extracurriculars and what that might mean for students this year and later in their adult lives.
Natalia earned an M.S. in journalism from Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism, where she covered stories from the five boroughs to national press boxes during the 2020 Presidential primaries. Prior to Columbia, she received a B.S. in broadcast journalism from the University of Miami.
Natalia is always eager to find and tell new stories while learning more about the communities she encounters. A first-generation American and native New Yorker, Natalia dived deeper into her Polish heritage for a story about Greenpoint, Brooklyn — a neighborhood once known as “Little Poland.” She also speaks fluent Polish and has conducted interviews in the language.
Natalia loves to try new things, meet new people, and travel. She has lived in Miami, the Bay Area, Barcelona, and New York and is excited to see where her next story will take her.
